Attending the Chantilly Hippodrome
The Chantilly Racecourse is right next to the Chateau. The meeting we attended was an ordinary one, but bigger meetings with Melbourne Cup type celebrations are held here in summer. It is a beautiful course with the stunning, historic Chateau and its incredible, original stables as a backdrop. Facilities were only ordinary on this day, but it was worth going for a look. Had one bet, picked no 7 and backed no 11. Of course 7 won.
